<\/em>We believe that all people are born in sin (Original Sin) and that we sin against God every day and are in need of His forgiveness.<\/em><\/span>
<\/em>We believe that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior and that He is true God and true man and that He died on the cross to atone for the sins of all mankind. But the Good News is that Jesus rose from the dead on the third day after His crucifixion opening the gates of heaven to all who believe in him.<\/em><\/span>
<\/em>We believe that we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ even though there is no merit or worthiness in us. So that we might believe in Jesus, God has blessed us with the rich inheritance of His sacred ministry, which is the faithful preaching of Christ crucified and administering the Sacraments of Holy Baptism and the Lord\u2019s Supper as Christ instituted them. Through these means of grace, God bestows faith, the forgiveness of sins, and strengthens that faith He has given us.<\/em><\/span>
<\/em>We believe that God\u2019s word, Holy Baptism, and Holy Communion must be and forever remain central in the life of His Church. They are the means by which God creates and sustains faith and bestows the forgiveness of our sins.<\/em><\/span>
<\/em>We believe that the Holy Scriptures are the inspired, inerrant written Word of God and are the authority for matters of faith and life.<\/em><\/span>
<\/em>We believe, teach, and confess that we are saved by grace through faith apart from works of the Law and that we live out our Christian lives in a daily relationship of forgiveness and faith, which empowers us to serve God in our daily life by caring for one another and the world around us.<\/em><\/span>
<\/em>We believe that when God brings people to faith through His means of grace, He also brings forth fruit of faith or good works in our lives. But these are not done to earn God\u2019s grace or forgiveness.<\/em><\/span>
<\/em>As Lutherans, we subscribe to the creeds of the Christian Church, namely; the Nicene, Apostles\u2019 and Athanasian \u2013 all of which confess the Holy Trinity \u2013 God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and confess Jesus Christ as the one and only Lord and Savior.<\/em><\/span>
<\/em>Trinity Lutheran Church is a member of the Lutheran Church \u2013 Missouri Synod, a wider body of churches united in our confession of faith and mission to share the Word of God \u201cto the ends of the earth.\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
